Shockwave Medical Brings Eko Health CFO Renee Gaeta to Succeed Dan Puckett, who Retires

Shockwave Medical (NASDAQ: SWAV) is set to welcome Renee Gaeta, the current CFO of Eko Health, a smart stethoscope manufacturer, as its new CFO effective February 5. Gaeta will succeed Dan Puckett, who has served as Shockwave Medical’s CFO since 2016 and recently announced his decision to retire.

Expressing excitement about the appointment, Shockwave Medical CEO Doug Godshall highlighted Gaeta’s expertise and accomplishments in the medical device and healthcare industries. In response to her new role, Gaeta also expressed her enthusiasm.

CEO Doug Godshall expressed gratitude to Dan Puckett for his exemplary leadership and contribution to the company’s success, noting that Puckett will continue to work with Shockwave in a consulting capacity.

Gaeta, who joined Eko Health in 2021, successfully led both finance and human resources teams as the company expanded its digital cardiopulmonary care platform. Additionally, she has served as a board member at Candel Therapeutics since August 2022. Prior to her role at Eko Health, Gaeta served as CFO at Establishment Labs Holdings, playing a crucial role in the company’s successful IPO.
