Here are the ten most powerful passports in Asia, 2024

Business Travel

CEOWORLD magazine has recently released the updated rankings for the world’s most powerful passports in 2024. These rankings are based on the number of countries that passport holders can access without a visa. Japan and Singapore are still leading the pack, as their passport holders can travel to 194 out of 227 countries without a visa. These two Asian countries are now joined by four European Union member countries – Germany, Spain, France, and Italy – in the top spot.

Europe dominates this ranking, with 27 countries appearing in the top 10. South Korea has slipped to the 2nd spot, while Australia and New Zealand are in 6th position with 189 destinations, just ahead of the American passport with 188 destinations.

Most Asian countries follow one another in the list, with Afghanistan unfortunately holding the weakest passport position, at 104th place, with only 28 destinations accessible without a visa.
