As of January 22, 2024, Mukesh Ambani was the wealthiest person in India, with an estimated net worth of 104.8 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Gautam Adani (No. 2, $77.8 billion), Shiv Nadar (No. 3, $34.6 billion) and Savitri Jindal (No. 4, $29.0 billion)

Cyrus Poonawalla is the fifth-richest person in India, with a whopping $24.9 billion. Dilip Shanghvi ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $22.2 billion, followed by Kumar Birla with $19.3 billion, and Kushal Pal Singh is placed 8th with a net worth of $17.6 billion. Lakshmi Mittal ($16.7 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in India.
