MBM Resources Bhd has named Rizal Mohd Zin as the new group CEO, effective as of January 2, 2024. The company highlighted that Rizal, aged 48, brings with him over two decades of expertise in corporate strategy planning, execution, transformation, performance management, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and investment management.
Previously, Rizal held the position of group chief strategy officer at MNRB Holdings Bhd. His experience also includes a role as director of investments at Ekuiti Nasional Bhd, where he actively participated in numerous investment and divestment initiatives, contributing to the growth of its portfolio companies. Rizal earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a Master’s in engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK.
