New CFO and CRO at Grameenphone
Grameenphone has introduced Otto Magne Risbakk as its incoming Chief Financial Officer and Md Arif Uddin as the new Chief Risk Officer. Risbakk is scheduled to assume the CFO role starting January 15, 2024, while Uddin commenced his tenure as CRO on October 1, 2023, as per the company’s press release.
Yasir Azman, CEO of Grameenphone, extended congratulations to the new appointees, expressing his enthusiasm about their roles. Risbakk also shared his excitement about joining Grameenphone.
The newly established Risk Management function at Grameenphone is aimed at proactively identifying and managing risks in the dynamic business landscape, ensuring the organization’s long-term sustainability and continued growth.
Arif Uddin, assuming the role of Chief Risk Officer, emphasized the significance of risk management, expressing his commitment to pioneering effective risk management functions and strategies to support the company’s success and resilience.
