Denison Appoints Elizabeth Sidle to Serve as CFO

Denison Mines Corp. (TSX: DML) (NYSE American: DNN) has announced key appointments within its executive team, including Ms. Elizabeth Sidle to the role of Chief Financial Officer, concurrent with her existing position as Vice President of Finance, and the addition of Mr. Geoff Smith as Vice President of Corporate Development & Commercial.

Denison is a uranium exploration and development company with its interests concentrated in the Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan, Canada. The Company holds an effective 95% interest in the Wheeler River Uranium Project.

David Cates, Denison’s President and Chief Executive Officer, commended the appointments, expressing his excitement.

Ms. Sidle joined Denison in 2016 and assumed the role of Vice President of Finance in 2021. Before joining Denison, she held various positions at Ernst & Young LLP, including serving in the firm’s National Accounting and Assurance Group. A CPA, CA, Ms. Sidle holds a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University and a Diploma in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University. She has been serving as Denison’s Interim Chief Financial Officer since September 1, 2023, during the temporary medical leave of absence of the previous CFO and following his departure from Denison in late October 2023.

Mr. Smith will primarily focus on bolstering investor and customer engagement, evaluating growth opportunities, securing financing arrangements, and steering the Company’s uranium sales and contracting strategies. Bringing considerable experience from his previous role as Managing Director in the Global Mining & Metals group at Scotiabank, Mr. Smith, a CFA charter holder, holds an Honors Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.
