George Bchara is the new CFO of Thrive Pet Healthcare
Thrive Pet Healthcare, a prominent national network comprising more than 380 veterinary hospitals, has appointed George Bchara as its Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Bchara assumed the CFO position following the departure of John O’Connor earlier this year, who chose to pursue other opportunities.
Bchara transitioned to Thrive from Conn’s HomePlus, where he held the positions of Chief Financial Officer and previously Chief Accounting Officer. Before his time at Conn’s HomePlus, Bchara served as the Chief Accounting Officer at BankUnited. His professional journey commenced at PwC, where he engaged in various roles encompassing audit, mergers & acquisitions, and general advisory within the financial services sector.
Bchara earned an M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Florida State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
