Temporary Leave for Spectra7 CFO Bonnie Tomei

Spectra7 Microsystems Inc. (TSXV: SEV) (OTCQB: SPVNF), a prominent provider of analog semiconductor products, has announced the appointment of David Mier as the Interim Chief Financial Officer. This move follows the disclosure that Bonnie Tomei, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, will be taking a temporary leave of absence starting December 1, 2023, owing to a family medical situation. The duration of this leave is estimated to be around three months but may be subject to changes based on circumstances.

Raouf Halim, Chief Executive Officer of Spectra7, expressed gratitude to Bonnie for her leadership and contributions, extending sincere wishes to her and her family. Halim also acknowledged the company’s fortune in having Dave rejoin as the Interim Chief Financial Officer after coming out of retirement.

David Mier brings a wealth of familiarity with Spectra7’s operations, investor relationships, and growth strategy, having previously served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer for over three years before his retirement in 2021. With over three decades of experience in senior financial leadership roles within public and private enterprises, Mier notably held positions at Yahoo! as Vice President of Finance, Americas Controller, and Vice President of Finance, Americas at Sun Microsystems.
