Altour CEO Alexandre Chemla Steps Down
On Friday, Internova Travel Group, Altour’s parent company, announced that Alexandre Chemla, the founder of Altour company, will step down from his role as CEO of travel management company Altour.
Altour has not yet disclosed its succession plan following Chemla’s departure. In response, Chemla expressed confidence in the talented individuals at Altour, stating, “There are many opportunities for the talented people at Altour, and I am confident that they are all in good hands at Internova Travel Group.”
Having established Altour in 1991, Chemla continued to lead the company after its merger with Travel Leaders Group in 2017.
Internova CEO J.D. O’Hara acknowledged Chemla’s significant contributions, stating, “Chemla has made an extraordinary and lasting impact on our company and our industry. Altour is a perfect fit with our Internova family of brands.”
