Marie Schott is once again the CEO of Etam

Marie Schott, who previously served as CEO of lingerie retailer Etam from 2011 to 2018, is set to return to her former position this autumn, as announced by the Etam group in a recent press release.

Following her departure from Etam, she ventured into entrepreneurship, founding her women’s lingerie company called AnaShaf in 2019. Subsequently, from June 2021 to June 2023, she held the position of CEO at the French design house, The Kooples.

Prior to her tenure at Etam, Marie Schott spent five years at Vivarte before joining the Etam group in 2007 to spearhead the launch of the new lingerie line, Undiz. She oversaw this line until 2011, when she was appointed as the head of the flagship brand.

Laurent Milchior, the group’s managing director, emphasized the value of her entrepreneurial background and her expertise in lingerie and retail in achieving the company’s objectives.

In her new role leading Etam, Marie Schott will be tasked with enhancing the brand’s creativity and market position, as well as continuing its digital and international expansion. Etam currently operates 660 stores, with 420 of them located in France. Recently, the company held its annual fashion show at Le Palace and expanded its presence in the US with the opening of its first store in Miami this summer.
