Charter Hall Group Appoints Anastasia Clarke as its new CFO after Russell Proutt’s Resignation
Charter Hall Group has announced the appointment of Anastasia Clarke as its Chief Financial Officer, taking over from Russell Proutt, who has resigned to explore new opportunities. Ms. Clarke will assume the role and also become a member of the Charter Hall Executive Committee. She recently resigned from her position as CFO at GPT Group. Ms. Clarke is set to commence her role with the Group on February 1, 2024.
Ms. Clarke brings a wealth of knowledge in various aspects of the real estate industry, including experience with listed corporations, funds management, investment, asset management, development, and construction, all of which make her well-suited for this appointment.
Notably, Ms. Clarke is currently a Board Director of the Property Council of Australia and is a member of Chief Executive Women (CEW). She previously served as a member of the Western Sydney University Audit & Risk Committee. Ms. Clarke holds a Bachelor of Accounting with Distinction from the University of Technology, Sydney, and has completed the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme. She holds the prestigious titles of Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA).
