Clement Demetz from SCOR is the Reinsurance CFO of Everest
Everest has revealed the selection of Clement Demetz as the Reinsurance Chief Financial Officer (CFO), bringing a substantial wealth of expertise in finance, risk management, and strategic planning to the company.
Demetz is making the transition to Everest from SCOR, where he has spent the last ten years. His most recent role at SCOR was Chief Financial Officer-EVP Finance-Americas. Prior to this, he held positions as Chief Accounting Officer-SVP Finance-Americas and VP Finance-Americas at SCOR.
In addition to his roles at SCOR, Demetz has served as the Chairman of the Audit Committee for ESSOR Seguros and as a Board Member for SCOR Brasil Resseguros. Furthermore, he spent more than eight years as the Head of the U.S. Insurance Audit Department at Mazars, an international firm specializing in audit, tax, and advisory services.
Demetz’s appointment is one of the recent additions to Everest’s team. This announcement comes on the heels of Emily Davis’s promotion to the position of Global Head of Engineering and Marco Schiattone’s appointment as Global Head of Financial Risk, both within Everest Reinsurance.
