Tushar Kale Joins Clime in the role of CFO
Tushar Kale has assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer at Clime Investment Management, starting on 4 September 2023. He succeeds Andrew Plum, who served as the interim CFO during a six-month probationary period beginning in December 2022. Plum departed from the company on 30 June, after which the firm announced the commencement of a search for a new CFO.
Kale has more than 15 years of financial and operational leadership experience with the team, with expertise in financial advice, investment management, superannuation, and insurance. He initially joined Clime as a Strategy and Commercial Manager in May.
Before joining Clime, Kale served as a General Manager of Advice Enablement at Australian Unity Wealth for over two years. He also held the position of Head of Finance and Operations at IOOF (now Insignia Financial) for two years, where he led the implementation of the structured client remediation program for IOOF financial advice licensees. Furthermore, he played a significant role as a senior member of the Financial Services Partners (FSP) licensee leadership team, responsible for delivering the value proposition to more than 150 self-employed advisers and overseeing daily operational and financial management matters.
Kale has a decade-long history with ANZ, where he served as Chief Financial Officer and COO of FSP Group for four-and-a-half years. In this role, he oversaw five AFSLs, including a financial advisory licensee with 200 advisers, a super fund, a platform operator, and a funds management business. Subsequently, he held the position of National Manager for Finance and Operations for more than six years.
