The new CFO of Groupe SEB is Olivier Casanova

Groupe SEB announced the selection of Olivier Casanova as its new Chief Financial Officer. Olivier Casanova will officially assume his role within Groupe SEB on September 15. In this capacity, he will join the Group’s General Management Committee and the Executive Committee, directly reporting to CEO Stanislas de Gramont.

Olivier Casanova, an alumnus of HEC, brings with him a robust background in finance and extensive leadership experience garnered from reputable organizations. His professional journey began in 1991 as an investment banker at SG Warburg / UBS in both Paris and London. Over the years, he advanced within the Thomson Group, holding various positions, including CFO of the Screens and Components division, Deputy CFO of the group, and Director of Strategy and Marketing. In 2010, he joined PSA Peugeot Citroën Group as Head of Finance, Treasury, and Mergers & Acquisitions. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2019, he served as the CFO of Tereos, the world’s third-largest sugar producer. Prior to his tenure with Groupe SEB, Olivier Casanova served as Deputy CFO of CMA CGM, overseeing controlling, accounting & consolidation, and group taxation. His association with CMA CGM began in 2019 when he served as CFO of CEVA Logistics, eventually becoming CEO of CMA CGM’s newly established air cargo airline.

In response to this appointment, Stanislas de Gramont, CEO of Groupe SEB, expressed his enthusiasm. Groupe SEB also extends its gratitude to Nathalie Lomon, who held the position of Chief Financial Officer for a span of four years. Nathalie has opted to depart from Groupe SEB due to personal reasons. Throughout the month of September, she will collaborate closely with Mr. Casanova to facilitate a seamless transition.
