5 Things You Should Know About Elon Musk
Elon Musk, for many, is the most admirable entrepreneur ever. And to his credit, he deserves all the acclaim and praises that people worldwide shower on him. On more than one occasion, he has single-handedly changed the course of the industry. From path-breaking innovations to futuristic products, Musk has given us everything.
He is regularly referred to as the most important visionary of the twenty-first century. From his plan to colonize Mars to his Neuralink microchip, people are waiting with bated breath for his next step. There are hundreds of exciting things about a person like him, and in the present article, we will tell you about five of them.
Tesla was almost sold to Google
A company named Tesla put his name on the world map and made him a celebrity, and Musk almost sold that company to Google. At that time, Tesla was not doing so well, and Musk was worried about future operations. He had approached Larry Page for a buyout while Musk retained operational control of the company. Thankfully, Tesla bounced back from the slump, and a company that is worth more than a hundred billion dollars was rescued from a paltry six billion dollar buyout. Today, Tesla has made Musk a superstar in the field of technology. He has a plan to expand the company and take it to new heights.
Sleeps on the couch
Musk is so committed to his work and company that he invests almost everything he has into the company. There is a famous story that shows his high level of commitment. According to the legend, when his new factory was underway, and they did not have the time to arrange for a guesthouse on campus, Musk slept on a couch in his office. Musk said that it saved him time from the commute that he would have to make otherwise. For someone who is constantly hailed as the wealthiest person on the planet, such a level of commitment is indeed heartwarming.
Wants to speed up evolution
With his Neuralink microchip that he soon plans to launch, Musk might just be fast-forwarding human evolution. The chip will give us the ability to readily gain knowledge and learn any skill within a matter of minutes. With such a boost to the memory of the human being, we would indeed become equal, if not better, than our machines. There would be no limit to human potential. Schools and colleges will have to evolve to keep up with the rapid pace of humanity. If this project is successfully launched, it will introduce an era of human prosperity that none of us can even begin to imagine. Everything around us will change instantaneously.
Plans to be a Martian by 2030
In just under a decade, Elon Musk wants to be a Martian. And he has invested heavily in the idea. The rockets of SpaceX, his company, are already being hailed as the smartest and most technically sound engines of all time. And not only that, he is incredibly economical in his approach too. His rockets can launch from and return to the site after completing their mission. In other words, we are talking about reusable rockets. Stories like these make it seem like we live in a fantasy world, but Musk is hell-bent on making it a reality. And we are excited! It is rare to get to see such innovation and genius. He and his company are truly a marvel of our times.
The Boring Company
He set up a company named “The Boring Company” to dig tunnels under the streets of Las Vegas to rid the city of its traffic problems. We never wish to lose this charming and inspiring genius. We are going to witness a huge technical leap forward in our lifetime, and we would owe it to Elon Musk.
