Invesco Names Andrew Schlossberg as President and Chief Executive Officer
Invesco Ltd. (IVZ), an investment management firm, said on Wednesday that it has appointed its Senior Managing Director and Head of the Americas, Andrew Schlossberg, as Chief Executive Officer with effect from June 30. Schlossberg will succeed Marty Flanagan. Mr. Schlossberg has been in the asset management industry since 1996 and with Invesco Ltd. since 2001.
Marty Flanagan, under whose strong leadership Invesco has grown to become one of the world’s leading global investment management firms, has decided to retire as President and Chief Executive Officer. Marty Flanagan will also step down from the Invesco Ltd. Board on June 30, 2023. He will continue as Chairman Emeritus through Dec. 31, 2024, providing advice and guidance to the company.
Prior to joining Invesco, Mr. Schlossberg worked with Citigroup Asset Management and its predecessors from 1996 to 2000 as an equity research analyst on the US large-cap value equity team.
Mr. Schlossberg earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS degree in finance and international business from the University of Delaware.
