So, without further ado, let us take a look at them, shall we?
University of Sao Paulo, Brazil: All hail the oldest university in Brazil, which is also among the top two universities from Brazil—the second one being the one we mentioned at number 5. The University of São Paulo is a public university and was established in the year 1934. Originally a collaboration among law, Engineering and Agriculture schools, it has now opened new departments and is incidentally the largest university in Latin America. The scale of the University can be ascertained from the fact that it has 70 libraries across its campuses, five affiliated hospitals, two theatres and a TV channel operated by its students. It, also, has its own 24 museums which are visited by thousands of people every year. The only downside is that it does not provide student accommodation. The University of São Paulo was ranked #150 in the CEOWORLD magazine University Ranking: Best Universities In The World For 2019.
The National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexico: Mexico houses the largest university in entire Latin America—and that is the National Autonomous University of Mexico. It was formerly called the Royal and Pontifical University of Mexico when it was established in the year 1910 by Justo Sierra. The University is amongst the most beautiful educational institutions in the region. What makes it attractive is the fact that its architectural design manifests Mexican history. Every wall of the university represents a period from Mexican history. If this did not interest you, let me tell you that this very university you are reading about is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México or Autonomous National University of Mexico or UNAM) was ranked #200 in the CEOWORLD magazine University Ranking: Best Universities In The World For 2019.

It was founded in the year 1888 and has had the privilege of receiving the blessings of the then Pope Leo XIII. The University was originally engaged in programmes concerning physical sciences, law, legal sciences, and mathematics. Gradually, more courses were added such as commerce, technology, and philosophy. It hosts a number of international students and engages itself in a number of national research projects. Four of its campuses are situated in the capital city, Santiago, and it is affordable in comparison to its European and North American counterparts. The University provides a wide range of courses such as humanities, arts, and nanotechnology. However, it is not easy to get enrolled in this university, but once you are here, there is so much you can do. Also, domestic and international students are not required to pay tuition.
