10 Best cities to live in the United States, 2018
Austin, Texas is number one again on the “best places to live in the United States” list, U.S. News says. Colorado Springs, Colorado came in at second place in the ranking of the country’s 125 largest metropolitan areas.
Denver, Colorado, took the No. three spot, bumping Des Moines, Iowa, to No. 4, and Fayetteville, Arkansas, came in at No. 5. Rounding out the top 10 were Portland, Oregon; Huntsville, Alabama; Washington, D.C.; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Seattle, Washington.
Real estate agents and mortgage brokers in 10 U.S. cities may see increased interest after they were named the best in the country.
The study looked at a variety of factors, including the cost of living, crime, jobs, access to quality healthcare, and population growth, to determine its rankings. However, the rankings often have some critics.
