Modeling the Future of What to Expect From In-Person Events

Entering its 2nd year after a successful launch Owensboro, Kentucky will host the Innovate Summit, a two-day and two-night conference that provides attendees with the necessary tools to thrive in the new economy, while also making the most of the event and city.  The conference will take place May 20-22 and offers a wide range of programming from an exhibitor space, multiple speakers and panels, enhanced networking opportunities, a podcasting lounge, and more.

Why a Small City?

Small, but mighty, that is. Owensboro sports a waterfront, packed with restaurants, hotels, activities, and pubs.  The Innovate Summit is a regional event, drawing attention to an often overlooked area.  In addition to its main focus of celebrating and exploring innovation, this conference also hopes to provide a chance for visitors to explore a beautiful city and waterfront.  Owensboro acts as an example of innovation at work in a physical space.  Innovate will showcase the results of the city’s $200+ million waterfront, helping the city develop a name on the national and global scale.

Something for Everyone

The Innovate Summit has activities for everybody.  There will be a vast array of options when it comes to speakers.  For example, “Innovate had a magnetic aura leading up to it last year in 2024, I couldn’t put my finger on it, but it just felt like I had to be there. Needless to say, my feelings were spot on. Attending in 2025 is a no-brainer. Owensboro is beautiful, the event is dynamic and the guests are top-tier, best in class and the highest caliber professionals.” Ari Sohn, Co-Founder of Cart Basel and Host of Heartfelt Event Show, said.

“I have been to many conferences, trade shows, and events. Most are either a ‘meat market’ where people are looking for who next to speak to, sharks circling fresh meat (aka attendees), or sessions by heads of companies (half of which are reading their team’s research). Innovate Summit is different. Smaller, more intimate crowd. The people on stage walk the walk and talk the talk – they are doing it and sharing their current knowledge. People are looking to connect with each other and not pitch slap. Yes, I would recommend it.” Matthew Silverman, Founder of Silverman Consulting said.

“Innovate will help you not only grow as a professional but it will encourage you to embrace creativity as you experience a conference like no other. We are excited to partner with Visit Owensboro to make this event happen!” Margaret Bedlion, Lead Event planner said.

“We’re entering a time when AI will redefine every industry, and Innovate Summit is the place to discuss how we navigate this shift. My goal is to help business leaders understand what’s coming, what they should be doing today, and how they can turn AI into their biggest advantage rather than a disruption they struggle to keep up with, ” said Michael Antonovych, Founder of SolaraCloud.ai and 28software.

Not Your Garden Variety Networking

This conference will also provide valuable networking opportunities.  In fact, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with speakers and experts.  This is a powerful opportunity for growth and the sharing of knowledge, promoting innovation and community.

Some individuals already experienced some of what the Innovate Summit has to offer at the pre-conference virtual event last November.  This event occurred on Zoom and highlighted business innovation in Israel.  Like the main conference, this virtual event hosted speakers with a wide variety of expertise, whether it be health, social media, or venture capital.  Attendees could select their topic of choice and attend a breakout session revolving around that topic.  The event concluded with networking and an expo hall.

The Innovate Summit is an example of when innovation gets some rubber meets the road of activities, hoping to lead to not just a transactional business deal but to start a new movement for the future of conferences and deepening relationships.  It will promote the flow of ideas, experience, and questions between experts and attendees, speaking community and development.  Attendees can expect engaging talks and workshops, as well as a flourishing riverfront city to explore in between activities.  This conference is an interesting and useful event, helping attendees find economic and entrepreneurial success in a changing economy.  For more information and tickets, please visit the Innovate Summit website.
