Alorica Achieves Great Place to Work® Certification Across Nine Latin American and Caribbean Countries
Alorica Inc., a global leader in digitally-engineered, tech-enabled customer experience (CX) solutions, has achieved a significant milestone—securing Great Place to Work® certification in all nine countries where it operates across Latin America and the Caribbean. The certification is based on employee sentiment and experience in five key areas: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and fellowship. This achievement adds Jamaica, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, and Paraguay—Alorica’s newest site launched in 2024—to its growing list of certified locations.
In addition to the Philippines receiving recognition for the third consecutive year, Alorica has been honored for the fourth year in a row in Guatemala and for the second time in Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, and Panama. The certification results were derived from a survey conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute, a globally recognized authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and leadership practices that contribute to market-leading revenue, employee retention, and innovation. Over 11,400 employees participated in the survey.
Alorica’s Co-CEO, Mike Clifton, emphasized that this achievement reflects the company’s people-first philosophy. He highlighted that fostering innovation through advanced technology begins with empowering employees, and the positive feedback received from the workforce serves as a testament to the thriving culture within the organization. He also noted that this recognition would further motivate the company to continue delivering value to employees, clients, and communities.
Co-CEO Max Schwendner expressed that the company’s vision for sustainable growth is firmly rooted in investing in its people. He acknowledged that their passion and dedication have been instrumental in driving Alorica’s momentum and in setting new benchmarks for excellence. According to him, witnessing employees being recognized as the foundation of the company’s success has been highly rewarding.
In 2024, Alorica achieved several key milestones in Latin America and the Caribbean, reinforcing its commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace that supports employee growth and business success. The company expanded its regional footprint by launching operations in Paraguay, where it now employs more than 600 team members. Additionally, its workforce grew significantly, with nearly 3,500 new agents hired, representing a 15% year-over-year increase. Alorica also prioritized career development, promoting over 1,000 employees and filling 89% of leadership positions through internal promotions. Demonstrating its strong focus on employee satisfaction, the company achieved an outstanding 92% employee net promoter score (eNPS), surpassing industry benchmarks.
Jose Ramirez, President of Alorica Latin America and the Caribbean, remarked that employees are the driving force behind the company’s culture and performance. He noted that when employees feel valued and empowered, they contribute not only to business success but also to community development. He added that the region-wide certification stands as a reflection of the supportive culture the company has cultivated among its 21,000 employees across nine countries and serves as the foundation for Alorica’s ongoing growth and positive impact.
