Google Expands AI-Driven Product Studio to 15 More Countries

Google has announced the expansion of its AI-powered tool, Google Product Studio, to an additional 15 countries. This tool, which launched in May 2023, is integrated into Merchant Center Next, Google’s revamped platform for managing product listings.

Designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and retailers enhance their product images, Google Product Studio leverages generative AI to simplify the process of creating visually appealing product visuals. The tool offers cost-effective and time-saving solutions, making it particularly beneficial for businesses seeking to improve their imagery without investing in professional photoshoots or extensive editing.

Features of Google Product Studio

Google Product Studio provides several functionalities aimed at optimizing product visuals, including:

  • Background Removal and Replacement: Users can remove cluttered backgrounds or replace them with thematic or seasonal designs for a polished look.
  • Image Upscaling: The tool enhances low-resolution images, ensuring they appear sharp and professional.
  • Seasonal and Thematic Overlays: Merchants can quickly add holiday-themed or specific overlays to align with promotional campaigns.
  • Video Generation: Recently introduced, this feature allows merchants to create product videos effortlessly.

These capabilities enable advertisers to improve the quality of their listings, which can lead to higher click-through rates and improved conversions.

Broader Availability

Initially limited to select regions, Product Studio is now accessible in 15 additional countries, including:

  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Ireland
  • Mexico
  • New Zealand
  • Norway
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Sweden
  • Turkey
  • Ukraine

This expansion brings the total number of countries where Product Studio is available to 30, which already includes regions such as the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, India, and Brazil.

Google has indicated that Product Studio will be introduced to more countries in the coming months, further extending its reach to global merchants.
