Mike Elling Named CFO of Rotochopper Inc.
Rotochopper Inc. has appointed Mike Elling as its Chief Financial Officer. In this pivotal role, Elling will spearhead all aspects of the company’s financial operations, leveraging his extensive experience to shape strategic direction across accounting, audit, tax, finance, and information systems.
With a career spanning over two decades, Elling brings a wealth of leadership experience to Rotochopper. His journey began as an accountant and financial analyst, leading to diverse financial roles in the healthcare and manufacturing sectors. Notably, Elling held key positions at Stanley Black & Decker in New Britain, Connecticut, where he demonstrated remarkable growth from plant controller to plant manager and eventually business unit controller, overseeing operations across multiple facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to joining Rotochopper, Elling served as CFO at Builtrite Manufacturing in Two Harbors, Minnesota.
Elling, an alumnus of the University of Minnesota Duluth with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, also holds a lean certification. In his remarks, Elling expressed gratitude for the opportunity to join Rotochopper’s esteemed leadership team, acknowledging the company’s rich heritage and expressing eagerness to collaborate with the dedicated team to drive value and success.
