Bridgepoint Group Plc Brings Ruth Prior to Drive Financial Growth as the New CFO

Bridgepoint Group Plc has unveiled Ruth Prior as its incoming Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Adam Jones, the current CFO, who will be stepping down later this year after playing a pivotal role in the company’s success. The FTSE 250 company confirmed that Jones will continue in his role until Prior assumes her new position.

Prior brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having served as CFO of Element Materials Technology, a former Bridgepoint portfolio company specializing in testing, inspection, and certification services. Prior to this, she held the CFO position at William Hill, where she oversaw finance, assurance, legal, and procurement functions. Prior also served as Chief Operating Officer at Worldpay, a global payment processing business, where she spearheaded its digital transformation and prepared it for its FTSE 100 initial public offering in 2015.

Raoul Hughes, Chief Executive Officer of Bridgepoint, expressed enthusiasm about Prior’s appointment, citing her extensive experience in both listed and private sectors. Hughes emphasized Prior’s substantial contributions to Bridgepoint’s market presence and capabilities and extended gratitude to Adam for his contributions as CFO and Chief Operating Officer.

With almost a decade of experience in operational and financial roles within the private equity industry, Bridgepoint highlighted Prior’s expertise, further bolstered by her role as a non-executive director and chair of the audit and risk committee at Motability Operations Group, a UK-based company providing mobility solutions for the disabled.

As Bridgepoint looks forward to welcoming Ruth Prior in 2024, her appointment marks a significant step in the company’s journey towards enhancing its financial leadership and driving continued growth and success.
