Crossword Cybersecurity PLC Announces CFO Succession: Rose Clark to Succeed Mary Dowd
Crossword Cybersecurity PLC (AIM: CCS) has announced a change in its chief financial officer, with Mary Dowd stepping down from the role on June 30 to be succeeded by Rose Clark thereafter. Rose Clark brings extensive experience in the CFO role, having served in AIM companies, notably as the group finance director of Jelf Group plc, which completed 20 acquisitions over two years.
Expressing gratitude to Mary Dowd, Crossword CEO Tom Ilube acknowledged her pivotal role in leading the company through various milestones, including its AIM admission, fundraising rounds, and successful acquisitions. Ilube also commended Dowd for laying the groundwork for Crossword’s path to profitability and future growth.
In a statement, the company emphasized Dowd’s significant contributions during her six-year tenure, including leading Crossword’s AIM IPO in 2018. Dowd is now set to explore executive opportunities outside the company.
Ilube expressed confidence in Rose Clark, citing her financial expertise and leadership qualities. He highlighted Clark’s experience in scaling businesses rapidly, which aligns with Crossword’s trajectory towards profitability and expansion.
