KFC Global has announced the appointment of Alex Barsk as its new Chief Financial Officer, reporting directly to Sabir Sami, CEO of KFC Global. Barsk will assume her new role on June 1, 2024, tasked with leading the company’s global Finance function and driving continued growth and profitability for the KFC business. Additionally, she will oversee financial planning analysis and strategy functions within KFC.
Barsk brings a wealth of experience to her new position, having most recently served as the global CFO at Pizza Hut, a sister company within the Yum! Brands portfolio. Since joining Pizza Hut in 2015, Barsk has held various leadership roles spanning strategy, finance, development, and supply chain, contributing significantly to Pizza Hut’s growth agenda.
Prior to her tenure with Yum! Brands, Barsk served as an engagement manager at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company), where she worked in both the London and Dallas offices. She also gained valuable experience at Cambridge Associates, a global investment advisory firm, during her time in London.
Barsk holds a B.A. from Brown University and an MBA from London Business School, underscoring her strong academic background and qualifications for her new role at KFC Global. Her appointment signifies KFC’s commitment to strategic financial management and continued success in the global market.
