The fifth and sixth spots on the list are occupied by Rakesh Mittal, whose net worth is $5.9 billion, and Rajan Mittal, whose net worth is $5.9 billion. Robert Hale Jr is placed 7th with a net worth of $5.4 billion. Ananda Krishnan ($5.0 billion) occupied the 8th position among the wealthiest people in the telecom industry, followed by Yasumitsu Shigeta(No. 9) with $4.5 billion and Richard Li  (No. 10, $4.4 billion).
