Yasumitsu Shigeta is the fifth-richest person in Japan, with a whopping $4.4 billion. Akio Nitori ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $4.2 billion, followed by Takao Yasuda with $4.0 billion. Masahiro Noda is placed 8th with a net worth of $3.6 billion. Hiroshi Mikitani ($3.5 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in Japan.
