Brightway Insurance Names Nick Clements as CEO to Drive Technological Transformation

Brightway Insurance, a US-based personal lines insurance distribution platform, has appointed Nick Clements as its Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1, 2024.

Clements’s appointment as CEO follows Brightway’s recent brand refresh in February and achieving over $1.2 billion in gross written premiums in 2023, alongside the addition of over 100 new franchises. The revamped brand was unveiled on February 6th and will be progressively implemented across the network throughout 2024.

Clements brings over two decades of experience in building and expanding fintech enterprises, both as a founder and within leading financial services organizations. Prior to joining Brightway, he served as President of Credit Cards at OneMain Financial from 2020 to 2024. Preceding his tenure at OneMain, Clements co-founded and led MagnifyMoney, acquired by LendingTree in 2017, following his role as CEO of Barclaycard UK Consumer Credit Card business. His career commenced at Citigroup in Europe, holding various risk and analytics positions before moving to Swiss Re.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the role, Clements emphasizes Brightway’s distinctive platform, offering consumers curated insurance choices and entrepreneurial agency owners the opportunity to establish and expand their businesses. He envisions leveraging technology, data, and AI to enhance customer satisfaction and agent productivity, aiming to accelerate growth and attract more customers and franchise owners in the years ahead.
