Valutrades Announces Departure of CFO Liam Bonfield After Eight Years of Service

Valutrades, a leading retail brokerage headquartered in London, has bid farewell to its Chief Financial Officer, Liam Bonfield, who is stepping down from his role after eight years of dedicated service. While Bonfield’s future plans remain undisclosed, his departure marks the end of a significant chapter in the company’s journey.

Graeme Watkins, CEO of Valutrades, acknowledged Bonfield’s invaluable contributions to the company’s growth and success, emphasizing that his leadership played a pivotal role in achieving key milestones. Watkins extended heartfelt wishes to Bonfield for his future endeavors, underscoring the profound impact of his legacy at Valutrades.

In a statement addressing his departure, Bonfield expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work alongside a talented team during his tenure. He conveyed confidence in the future success of Valutrades, particularly with recent investments in a new technology stack, and extended his best wishes to the team for their future endeavors.

Bonfield’s association with Valutrades commenced in April 2016 when he assumed the role of CFO at the company’s London offices. Prior to this, he served as the Finance Director at GMO-Z.com in London and held key positions at London Capital Group, where his contributions were instrumental in shaping the company’s financial landscape. With a career spanning over two decades, Bonfield’s expertise has left an indelible mark on the organizations he served, reflecting his dedication and proficiency in financial management.

With licenses from both the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and the Seychelles regulator, Valutrades is well-positioned to deliver comprehensive trading services across various asset classes. In a strategic move last October, Valutrades received a significant capital injection from existing shareholders, earmarked for financing its rebranding initiatives. Despite facing increased expenses, the company reported a commendable 45 percent revenue growth in 2022, reflecting its resilience and ability to navigate evolving market dynamics.
