Adam Winslow will Assume the CEO role of Direct Line Insurance Group on March 1
Direct Line Insurance Group Plc (Direct Line Group or DLG) has officially confirmed the commencement date for Adam Winslow, its incoming chief executive officer. In a filing with the London Stock Exchange, the insurer disclosed that Winslow will assume the CEO role on March 1, 2024. Furthermore, his appointment to the Direct Line Group’s board will be effective from March 21, 2024.
Coinciding with Winslow’s board induction, DLG will release its preliminary results for 2023 on the same day.
Currently on a period of leave, Winslow previously held the position of UK & Ireland general insurance chief at Aviva. His transition prompted Aviva group CEO Amanda Blanc to return to the Association of British Insurers board. Blanc, a former ABI chair, took over Winslow’s role as Aviva’s representative within the board.
