Gallagher Bassett Names Manan Sagar as CEO for the UK Region

Gallagher Bassett has announced the appointment of Manan Sagar as Chief Executive Officer for the UK region. Sagar’s appointment underscores Gallagher Bassett’s commitment to leveraging top-tier talent to drive strategic growth and deliver exceptional value to clients in the UK market.

Sagar brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having most recently served as the Global Head of Insurance at Genesys, where he spearheaded strategic sales initiatives, substantially expanding the Global Insurance Vertical’s annual contract value from $28 million to $62 million within a year.

His professional journey commenced as a Trainee at Deloitte in 2000, followed by pivotal roles such as Audit Senior at KPMG and Sarbanes Oxley Testing Manager at Prudential Assurance. Sagar’s expertise also extends to the technology sector, where he served as Chief Technical Officer, EMEIA at Fujitsu UK.

Notably, Sagar has held executive positions at prominent organizations, including Capita, where he served as Transformation Director, and Allied World, where he assumed the role of Acquisition Director in Singapore and Hong Kong. His tenure as CEO of Lockton Companies in Singapore saw remarkable revenue growth of 20%, attributed to strategic realignment and enhanced capabilities. His association with Lockton Companies also includes serving as International Operations Director.
