Nick Keher Succeeds Current Oxford Nanopore Technologies CFO, Tim Cowper
Nick Keher has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Oxford Nanopore Technologies, succeeding Tim Cowper, who has formally transitioned into the role of Chief Operating Officer. In his new position, Nick will assume responsibility for Oxford Nanopore’s finance function and investor relations under the leadership of CEO Gordon Sanghera.
Nick Keher brings substantial experience in the field of life sciences, having served as CFO of both Clinigen Group and Benevolent AI. Previously, he was a Managing Director at the Royal Bank of Canada and led its European healthcare equity research team.
Meanwhile, Tim Cowper is set to lead the firm’s expanding international footprint as COO, overseeing day-to-day operations such as manufacturing, tech transfer, IT, supply chain, global distribution, EHS and setup, and management of international facilities.
CEO Gordon Sanghera welcomed Nick as CFO, highlighting his financial leadership experience in a public company and innovative business environment. Gordon expressed excitement about working with Nick to drive value creation and thanked Tim for his leadership as CFO and his ongoing contributions in the new role as COO, underscoring the significance of Tim’s expertise as the business continues to scale and enhance its supply chain.
