Rocket Companies has appointed Jonathan Mildenhall, former Airbnb Chief Marketing Officer, as its inaugural Chief Marketing Officer, effective from January 8.
In his new capacity, Mildenhall will be responsible for cultivating a cohesive brand identity across all businesses under the Rocket Companies umbrella. He will oversee all marketing and communication teams for the company’s diverse brands, directly reporting to him.
Mildenhall, who also co-founded and chairs the branding and marketing consultancy TwentyFirstCenturyBrand, maintains his role as chairman within the consultancy. TwentyFirstCenturyBrand has collaborated with notable companies like Pinterest, LinkedIn, Zalando, PepsiCo, NextDoor, and Walmart.
CEO Varun Krishna expressed confidence in Mildenhall, highlighting his global reputation as a top marketing strategist known for creating impactful campaigns that resonate within society and cut through the marketing clutter.
Rocket Companies is a Detroit-based fintech platform encompassing mortgage, real estate, and various financial services entities.
