Matt Wolf Becomes DRINKS CFO

DRINKS has announced the appointment of Matt Wolf as their new Chief Financial Officer. Wolf’s extensive experience in SaaS-centric enterprises, regulated industries, and M&A aligns perfectly with DRINKS’ dynamic approach to the rapidly evolving $250 billion alcohol industry.

Previously, Wolf served as CFO of Roadster, a SaaS-based omnichannel digital retail platform catering to the complex and regulated automotive retail industry. Under his leadership, Roadster experienced significant revenue growth and efficiency enhancements, culminating in its acquisition by CDK Global for $360 million. Wolf’s most recent role was as CFO of ChartHop, a prominent people operations platform, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the enterprise SaaS platform.

Wolf brings extensive financial leadership experience from various sectors, including consumer goods and technology industries. He began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley, focusing on consumer goods, including the beverage alcohol sector.

Wolf earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in Economics from the University of Rochester.

Wolf joins DRINKS following the recent sale of its DTC unit, Wine Insiders, allowing DRINKS to concentrate solely on its core growth potential: the alcohol e-commerce enablement technology developed and scaled over the past decade. Through its WaaS (“Wine as a Service”) platform, DRINKS empowers businesses to seamlessly add alcoholic beverages to their online storefronts while ensuring complete compliance. Serving tens of thousands of alcohol producers and retailers, DRINKS offers regulatory and compliance technology via its Shopify app, streamlining online alcohol sales operations.
