Previously serving as Deputy CFO of Allianz Holdings PLC (UK), Wenzel boasts a robust background in finance and actuarial expertise. During his tenure at Allianz, Wenzel held pivotal leadership roles, notably as Chief Actuary and CFO of LV, a general insurance company acquired by Allianz in 2018.
Reporting directly to Antares Global CEO Mike van der Straaten, Wenzel’s arrival was greeted with enthusiasm by van der Straaten, who commended Wenzel’s profound proficiency in finance and actuarial matters. He also lauded Wenzel’s successful application of data science solutions. Foreseeing a momentous year for the company, van der Straaten is optimistic that Wenzel’s pragmatic and solution-focused approach will contribute to the realization of Antares Global’s strategic goals.
