Afendy Mohamed Ali is the new CFO of MISC
MISC Bhd has announced the appointment of Afendy Mohamed Ali as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective March 1. According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MISC stated that Afendy, aged 50, will take over from Raja Azlan Shah Raja Azwa, aged 53, who will transition to the role of Vice President of Corporate Planning within MISC.
MISC mentioned that Afendy commenced his career as an auditor with DSG Chartered Accountants in Liverpool, UK, in 1996. They indicated that he joined PETRONAS in 2002 as an audit executive and proceeded to occupy multiple senior roles in finance, corporate services, and risk management within the PETRONAS group.
