As of January 2, 2024, Mukesh Ambani was the wealthiest person in India, with an estimated net worth of 99.8 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Gautam Adani (No. 2, $73.4 billion), Shiv Nadar (No. 3, $33.1 billion) and Savitri Jindal (No. 4, $28.3 billion)

Cyrus Poonawalla is the fifth-richest person in India, with a whopping $23.2 billion. Dilip Shanghvi ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $21.5 billion, followed by Kumar Birla with $19.9 billion, Radhakishan Damani is placed 8th with a net worth of $18.0 billion. Lakshmi Mittal ($17.4 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in India.
