Irene Michael Succeeds current CFO of Stainless Tankers Erol Sarıkaya
Stainless Tankers announces a change in its Chief Financial Officer. Erol Sarıkaya will resign from the position of CFO, effective January 10, 2024. Irene Michael, currently serving as Tufton’s Director of Finance and a board member at STST, will take over as the new CFO. During the interim period, Alex Karakassis, the current CEO of STST, will temporarily assume the roles of both CEO and CFO.
Stainless Tankers ASA operates as a specialized shipping company focusing on the global transportation of chemical cargo via sea routes. The company maintains a fleet comprising nine vessels, each boasting an approximate total carrying capacity of 20,000 deadweight tons (dwt). Tufton manages this fleet, emphasizing the optimization of earnings and the distribution of surplus operational cashflows to its shareholders, ensuring an investor-friendly structure.
