Oliver Reeves Named CFO of Surf Air Mobility
Surf Air Mobility Inc. (NYSE: SRFM), a leading air mobility platform, announced the appointment of Oliver Reeves as the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Reeves, equipped with nearly two decades of experience across investment management, enterprise technology, and insurance industries, will spearhead the company’s financial and capital markets strategies. His tenure in this role is set to commence in January 2024. Previously, Mr. Reeves held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Xinuos, Inc., starting in 2019.
Reeves will assume the role from Deanna White, who served as Surf Air’s Chief Administrative Officer and subsequently as Chief Financial Officer. Having played a pivotal role in guiding Surf Air Mobility through its public listing in 2021, Ms. White will transition to a Senior Advisor position, lending her expertise to both Surf Air Mobility and the Board of Directors.
The company additionally announced the promotion of Bryce Van to the position of Chief Accounting Officer from his previous role as Vice President, Controller.
Before his role at Xinuos, Inc., Mr. Reeves served as the Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing the development and licensing of UnixWare and OpenServer operating systems. His earlier career spanned investment management positions, including roles at Coliseum Capital Management, Gerson Global Advisors, and Phoenix Star Capital. He commenced his career as an Associate in the M&A Group at Aon. Mr. Reeves holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Babson College.
