Marc Hedrich Becomes President and CEO of Kia Europe
Kia has announced the appointment of Marc Hedrich as the President and CEO of its European regional headquarters, effective January 1, 2024. Hedrich, who has been a part of Kia since 2015, previously served in key management roles within the company, most recently as President of Kia France. He succeeds Won Jeong Jeong, who held the position for the past four years.
Marc Hedrich, an alumnus of the European Business School, commenced his career at Ford France in the 1990s. He subsequently held positions as Marketing Director at Škoda France and Seat France before joining Toyota France as Marketing Director in 2003. Over the next twelve years, he occupied several strategic roles at Toyota France and Toyota Europe. In 2015, Hedrich was appointed Managing Director for Kia France and assumed the role of President and CEO in January 2021.
Under Won Jeong Jeong’s leadership since 2020, Kia Europe underwent a significant transformation, evolving into a regional headquarters with a heightened focus on sustainable mobility and strengthened brand management, particularly in the realm of electrified solutions.
