Theodora Mistras Succeeds Current CFO of Viatris Sanjeev Narula

Viatris (VTRS (NASDAQ)), the global healthcare company VTRS., has named Theodora Mistras as its incoming Chief Financial Officer, effective from March 1. Additionally, Viatris appointed Philippe Martin as its new Chief Research and Development Officer, effective immediately.

The current CFO, Sanjeev Narula, will collaborate closely with Mistras to facilitate a seamless transition and will subsequently exit the company on March 1.

Mistras, previously the managing director of healthcare investment banking at Citigroup Global Markets, brings nearly two decades of leadership, advisory, and capital markets expertise to Viatris, the company noted.

In October, Viatris disclosed its plans to divest certain businesses, totaling up to $3.6 billion, as part of its long-term strategy to concentrate on three core therapeutic areas: ophthalmology, gastroenterology, and dermatology.
