Arni Sigurdsson has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer at Marel with immediate effect. His previous roles within the company include Chief Business Officer and Deputy CEO, with his most recent position being Interim CEO since November.
Having been associated with Marel since 2014, Sigurdsson has held pivotal leadership roles, showcasing his abilities, particularly during uncertain periods. His professional background encompasses positions at AGC Partners and Landsbanki Islands, accompanied by educational credentials such as an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in industrial engineering from the University of Iceland.
