Hero MotoCorp Brings Vivek Anand to Serve as CFO
Hero MotoCorp (HROM.NS) has announced the appointment of Vivek Anand as its new Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Niranjan Gupta.
According to Hero MotoCorp, Anand, a chartered accountant, previously served as the CFO at real estate developer DLF (DLF.NS) for the past four years. Anand’s entry into the role follows Gupta’s appointment as CEO of Hero MotoCorp earlier this year in March.
Additionally, the company has sanctioned an extra investment of $16.81 million in the electric scooter maker Ather Energy. This move raises Hero’s stake in the company to 39.7% from its previous holding of 36.7%.
