Boeing Global Services Has a new President and CEO
Chris Raymond, who has held the position of Chief Sustainability Officer at Boeing (NYSE: BA) since October 2020, has been designated as the President and CEO of the defense contractor’s global services business segment.
Effective January 1, he will assume this new role, succeeding Stephanie Pope, who will transition to the Chief Operating Officer position at Boeing, according to the company’s announcement on Thursday.
Brian Moran, currently the VP of global sustainability policy and partnerships at Boeing, will assume the responsibilities of CSO. He will be situated in Amsterdam and report directly to Dave Calhoun, the president and CEO of Boeing, contributing his efforts towards advancing the company’s sustainability initiatives in the aerospace sector. Both Moran and Raymond will hold positions on Boeing’s executive council.
In his new capacity, Raymond will oversee the Boeing business unit responsible for providing aerospace services to clients both in the commercial and government sectors worldwide.
Raymond’s extensive career at Boeing spans over thirty years and includes roles such as vice president of sustainability, strategy, and corporate development, as well as VP and general manager of autonomous systems.
