Capgemini Appoints Nive Bhagat as CFO

Capgemini has announced the appointment of Nive Bhagat as Group Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Group Executive Board, effective January 1, 2024. Bhagat succeeds Carole Ferrand, who has served as CFO since 2018 and intends to explore other career opportunities. Ferrand will facilitate the transition and ensure a seamless handover to Bhagat until the year’s end.

Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini Group, expressed gratitude to Carole for her steadfast support and acknowledged her significant contributions during her six-year tenure as CFO. He highlighted Ferrand’s role in steering Capgemini through substantial growth, including doubling revenues from 12 billion to 22 billion Euros, overseeing the significant Altran acquisition, and successfully navigating the challenges posed by the global pandemic. Ezzat commended Ferrand for her transformative leadership in the finance function and her dedication to advancing diversity and inclusion within the company.

Ezzat also welcomed the appointment of Nive Bhagat, citing her extensive experience within the Group spanning over 13 years and her impressive track record in the industry. As the current CEO of Capgemini’s Cloud Infrastructure Services, Bhagat has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of the company’s operations and financial landscape. Ezzat expressed confidence in Bhagat’s ability to drive Capgemini’s future growth and development as the Group’s CFO.

In her response, Nive Bhagat expressed her honor in being appointed as Capgemini’s CFO. She expressed enthusiasm for collaborating with the Group’s leadership and Board to execute the company’s strategic vision, emphasizing her commitment to building upon Capgemini’s robust financial foundation and facilitating its growth, margin expansion, and financial discipline.

Carole Ferrand shared her appreciation for her six-year tenure at Capgemini, expressing pride in the accomplishments achieved alongside the management and her team.
