America’s top Weapons Manufacturers for the United States Armed Forces

Abrams Main Battle Tank

CEOWORLD magazine conducted a comprehensive review of the latest Military Weapon Systems Handbook, published by the U.S. Army, to identify the top companies responsible for producing the most advanced weapons systems for the United States Armed Forces. The ranking of these companies was based on the number of weapons systems they were contracted to produce, whether they were still in development or currently in use by the military. It’s worth noting that all the contractors listed have a minimum of four systems currently under contract with the United States Armed Forces. The report provides valuable insights into the companies that are driving innovation and development in the military weapons industry.

Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, and General Dynamics are three of the top U.S. Army weapons systems suppliers. They have a significant number of active military contracts for major weapons systems, giving them a commanding share of these contracts. It’s worth noting that the production of these critical weapons systems often involves multiple companies. One of these companies is Collins Aerospace, which is based in North Carolina and is a highly skilled but lesser-known contractor. Collins Aerospace plays a key role in the development of the Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System, a cutting-edge reconnaissance drone that is revolutionizing military operations.
