United Oil & Gas is in Search of a new CFO
United Oil & Gas PLC has disclosed that Chief Financial Officer Peter Dunne intends to step down from his position. He will be leaving the company to assume the role of CFO at DAA PLC, the owner of Dublin Airport. The departure of Dunne is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2024.
In response to this announcement, United Oil & Gas has initiated the search process for a new CFO, effective immediately. The company plans to appoint an interim CFO “in due course.” Dunne will be available over the next few months to facilitate a smooth transition.
Dunne expressed his appreciation for his time at United Oil & Gas, working with a robust team. He stated, “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at United working alongside such a strong team…I look forward to seeing continued progress being made in Jamaica and Egypt.”
Peter Dunne assumed the role of CFO at United Oil & Gas in early May 2022, having transitioned from the same position at Boru Energy Ltd, which focuses on West Africa. His previous experience includes serving as the Finance Director at Origin Enterprises PLC.
