In 2020, Ayers moved on to Change Healthcare, where he served as Senior Vice President and CFO of corporate.

Ayers holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on accounting and programming from James Madison University, graduating cum laude in 1986. He obtained his CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license in 1988.

Venkat Kavarthapu, CEO of Edifecs, expressed the organization’s fortune in welcoming Stephen and integrating his strategic financial planning and operational excellence expertise into the company. Ayers will play a crucial role in overseeing financial functions and providing leadership and counsel on growth opportunities as Edifecs plans for continued high growth.
