Persimmon Promotes Andrew Duxbury to CFO
Persimmon has appointed the current Head of Finance at Galliford Try, Andrew Duxbury, as its new Chief Financial Officer. Andrew Duxbury, who has been serving as the Group Finance Director at Galliford Try since March 2019, will be joining Persimmon’s board in the near future.
In the interim, Persimmon’s Chief Executive, Dean Finch, has been overseeing the finance function and will continue to do so until Duxbury assumes his role.
In response to the news, Andrew Duxbury expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am delighted to be joining Persimmon and excited by the opportunities ahead. Persimmon is a strong business with a proven track record and plays an important role in the UK economy. I look forward to working with the team to deliver its industry-leading financial ambitions while continuing the significant recent progress in building quality and service.”
Chairman Roger Devlin commented, “Andrew has extensive experience as a finance director in the construction and housebuilding industry, which will be an invaluable asset to Persimmon as we continue to provide good quality homes for families across the UK and position the business for future growth.”
