As of November 7, 2023, Zhong Shanshan was the wealthiest person in China, with an estimated net worth of 61.8 billion U.S. dollars, followed by Zhang Yiming (No. 2, $43.4 billion), Colin Zheng Huang (No. 3, $37.8 billion); and William Ding (No. 4, $35.2 billion).

Ma Huateng is the fifth-richest person in China, with a whopping $34.0 billion. Jack Ma ranked 6th with a personal wealth of $25.6 billion, followed by He Xiangjian with $21.4 billion. Wang Chuanfu is placed 8th with a net worth of $17.7 billion. Eric Li ($15.0 billion) occupied the 9th position among the top 10 wealthiest people in China.
